Well, we knew this was going to arrive on our doorsteps one day. When we piously stand at community events and acknowledge we are on aboriginal lands, what did we expect.

What a bunch of twits we are.

Not I. I don't recall anywhere in the Bible God giving all of Canada to the Indigenous. Nowhere. They must share this huge country & stop whining & blaming anyone but themselves for their misfortunes. GREEDY. The only land The Lord God deeded, was to the Israelites. Our pandering government has got to GO. The handouts have got to stop. Really.

Not precisely. The Indigenous people only think they own all of Canada because our Liberal government told them they did. Not so. GOD created the heavens & the earth for all people. He only deeded land to the Israelites, the rest of us gotta share, try to get along. Those folks living on the land presently, need to be grandfathered in. Canadian tax payers have been paying The People, billions, & billions. Time for them to reconcile to this truth. We all live here, enough with the drama.

This is the plan of the WORLD ECONOMIC FORUM (WEF). This will perpetuate the divide of citizens and in my opinion what is happening is a spiritual war. A new Christian, 58 years old. Canada is done.

It was intentional.

SO... The folks who, for the most part can't even get themselves clean drinking water or maintain their houses are going to own the land in BC.

What could possibly go wrong???

And don't think for one minute this absolute judicial stupidity will not be repeated in other Provinces.

Next... Bets on Manitoba??

So far it appears to be an NDP thing but don't think for one minute it will stop there.

Actually Justin Trudeau signed the UN decree that Colonized lands must be returned to the indigenous people in all nations. The BC government was the first to sign the agreement at the provincial level,

The Islamic Dominated UN put the Land Back directive in place to undermine Jewish claims to the ancient Land of Israel and also to disrupt western civilization through elimination of property rights of new comers in colonized nations World Wide.

George Kennan, 1946, Long Telegram (excerpted from a report to US Secretary of State on the long-game aspirations of marxist-maoist collaboration targeting western society for de-stabilization from within and without);

-"(a) To undermine general political and strategic potential of major western powers. Efforts will be made in such countries to disrupt national self confidence, to hamstring measures of national defense, to increase social and industrial unrest, to stimulate all forms of disunity. All persons with grievances, whether economic or racial, will be urged to spelt redress not in mediation and compromise, but in defiant violent struggle for destruction of other elements of society. Here poor will be set against rich, black against white, young against old, newcomers against established residents, etc.

(b) On unofficial plane particularly violent efforts will be made to weaken power and influence of Western Powers of [on] colonial backward, or dependent peoples. On this level, no holds will be barred. Mistakes and weaknesses of western colonial administration will be mercilessly exposed and exploited. Liberal opinion in Western countries will be mobilized to weaken colonial policies. Resentment among dependent peoples will be stimulated. "

All in-play, in-progress... .BC first ....then eastward Canada

The ruling party recipients in BC who supposedly were ELECTED BY THE PEOPLE FOR THE PEOPLE need to step back and see what a dismal Frankenstein job they are doing! ALL BC residents bought and paid for whatever lands they currently live on! Federal and provincial governments must step up and collectively support this! No minority group of freeloaders from anywhere, anytime need to think otherwise!! Canada is ONE country which houses many colours and races from a multitude of other countries! We do not ever step in and arbitrarily, on behalf of one particular group, scam someone else’s hard earned property…., or do we Carney, Eby??

It seems that under Carney, even that old reliable fiscal guardrail, a declining net debt-to-GDP ratio, has been abandoned. If you remember that far back, In the 2015 election Justin Trudeau was promising a ratio of less than 30%, for the last year of their first term in office. Ten years on, the PBO is projecting a 42.5% ratio for 2025-6 and a 43.7% ratio for 2028-9.

In 2021 there were 1,807,250 indigenous people in Canada according to a census. Of these First Nations were 1,048,405, Métis 624,220, and Inuit 70,241,189…this made up 5% of the entire population of 38.24 million in Canada, according to Stats Canada. As of October 19, 2025 according to Worldometer’s estimation it was 40,241,189. If these figures are correct how is it that a little over 5% can dictate to us who owns what. Aside from the treaty’s that were signed many years ago how can they claim to own that much land when there could not have been anywhere near the population of indigenous back then…and add to the mix that tribes fought each other and killed each other off over land and territory back then too. This is crazy and defies common sense….I am getting too old for this crap…

Of course Richmond is controlled by the CCP; Richmond is a sea of Red in a predominantly conservative province; they always vote based on what the CCP dictates. And they cheat in elections.

It's Communism; Communists always support minorities and create division by supporting and infiltrating governments; then supporting minority related issues... IMO

Even some Law Societies of Canada have been infiltrated by communists and Bolsheviks.

That’s one reason the Christian university “Trinity Western University” was prevented from having a law program” communist are anti-religion. Communists lawyers took up the fight on behalf of the LBGT community; but it was just an attack on Christianity; they have infiltrated and perverted the law society’s of Canada.

Civil disobedience and unrest will be the result of this silly ruling by some woke judge. Did the so called Indigenous just happen to be in Canada by way of evolution. Or, did they move in from somewhere else such as across the Bering straight. . and are thus colonizers themselves.

Actually I can see this going two different directions. The first is a continuation of judicial activity giving more land back to the natives in B.C. The other is a ground swell of opposition and anger that swings the pendulum in the other direction where natives lose all and are told to just be Canadians, with all that implies.

Eby should be in jail for how he is destroying B.C. and turning the property back to the natives when the people bought and paid for it and paid taxes on it for years who stole what.

So, the Crown is now admitting to title fraud. Selling something to citizens that was not theirs to sell. Interesting. How many agents of the Crown will survive this outrage is indeed a point to ponder. Also, seeing that Aboriginals were historically transient, following the food supply, and no one owned property, it seems ludicrous that now they claim title to land that was used by all, and owned by none. The B.C. COURT must be "woke". Virtue signaling is a Trudeau era phenomena, not a lasting legacy. How unfortunate, for honest people. Chaos will ensue.

Thanks for framing the issue in this way. The framing lends itself to the more complex “property” matter of who or what owns the individual self. But, that’s another matter for another day and another conversation. For now, this Richmond anxiety and concern is heading for a serious reckoning and this framing is extremely helpful!

Re-direct your property taxes to Cowichan going forward. Halt your payments to Richmond municipality entirely.

Problem solved.

Ludicrous that BC gov and its municipalities are fostering a new world where they think they can operate 2-3 parallel government overlords and expect tax-payers to pay taxes in multiple directions.

It's either Indigenous-governed land administrators or traditional elected municipalities, not both.

Sad though funny. Pretty much all of B.C. could be under litigation for native ownership. It is not like the rest of the provinces, where treaties were made. So, from this precedent, B.C. will be handed back to the natives. I say good. B.C.ers aren’t mature enough to have a province. Considering that the Chinese and East Indians have taken over most of it I say good luck to them. To the rest of the population, the other provinces are calling. Just leave your stupid politics at the border.
