The Conservative Party of British Columbia says it has reached a major milestone, announcing a surge in membership that now exceeds 42,000 members across the province.

The figure marks a dramatic increase for the party, which only counted a few hundred members just a few years ago.

By late 2025, that number had climbed to roughly 7,000, underscoring what party officials describe as rapid grassroots growth heading into a pivotal leadership contest.
