The B.C. Conservative Party is pushing back against criticism over its voter ID registration process when it comes to getting people verified to cast their ballot for who will become the next leader of the party.

While some people involved in leadership campaigns have said that the system is too rigid, the party argues that it’s about protecting the democratic process at a time when Canadians elections are known to be subjected to interference.
