A Richmond, B.C. church is under fire after promoting an event encouraging Canadians to “learn about” the country’s state-funded euthanasia program with the help of a pro-assisted suicide group.

U.S. Christian musician, Sean Feucht, who drew national attention after several venues across Canada attempted to block his performances over his support for U.S. President Donald Trump, blasted Canada on X after learning the “church” openly “promoted suicide.”

As first reported by Rebel News reporter Drea Humphrey, Gilmore Park United Church invited community members to “learn about” Canada’s “Medical Assistance in Dying” (MAiD) program during an event scheduled for Wednesday, according to a message posted outside the church.
