Remember that great and long ago establish principle that one entered the public sector for job security and benefits but in exchange would forgo the salary levels of their equivalent jobs in the Private Sector.

There was a plan and it started decades ago and it became the mantra of the Liberal Party of Canada and other Politicians.. Not all but a lot.

That mantra was expressed by Stephen Harper way back in "NOT IN IT FOR YOU".

It took a while but that was always the plan.

And now in a lot of places, not just out East but also Federally and in other Provinces and certainly down to the Municipal level the pay, benefits and job security that is afforded to public sector workers far exceeds that which can be had in the Private sector.

And yet in exchange...

Low Productivity..

Lack of Service...

Process over Results...

etc.. etc.. etc..

That (sadly) these days defines the Public Sector but in exchange the only thing those who actually pay the bills can do is look at these folks and go...

WTF

As socialism grows, big government with no accountability. You can see a reversal, with business and its workers as second class citizens.
