Authorities have issued an arrest warrant for a 42-year-old man accused of helping dozens of people provide false information in immigration applications and arranging for 53 people to enter Canada using fraudulently obtained temporary resident visas.
Abul Kasim faces five charges following a Canada Border Services Agency investigation into an alleged immigration fraud scheme dating back to 2022.
Kasim is believed to have left Canada in June 2025 and is currently believed to be outside the country.
