An anti-Zionist protester displayed a series of panels identifying Jewish people in the area that he deemed to be “zionists” at Bathurst Street and Sheppard Avenue in Toronto.

The area has a large Jewish population and has been the target of anti-zionist protesters since the Hamas-led massacre and mass kidnapping in Israel on October 7, 2023.

The man identified by X user Leviathan and independent journalist Caryma Sa’d as Dave Perks did not respond to Juno News’ requests for comment. Some Jewish advocates online called the anti-zionist panels an act of “intimidation” against the Jewish community in Toronto.
