Annual housing starts decline in March

The Canada Housing and Mortgage Corporation recorded a 2.9 per cent decrease in housing starts compared with February.

Housing starts fell again in March, compared with February, with the six-month showing a decrease of 2.9 per cent, according to the Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation.

The latest CMHC report found that when adjusted seasonally, the annual rate of housing starts in March fell six per cent compared with February.
