ANALYSIS: Canada has become a haven for abortion providers
"Canada is fast becoming the destination of choice for those seeking to end innocent life in the womb—where unborn children have no legal standing, no shield of protection, and no voice."

Canada is gaining an unexpected reputation on the world stage—not for its stunning landscapes, abundant natural wealth, or cherished freedoms, but as a haven for abortion providers. Some American abortionists, frustrated by increasing legal protections for the unborn in their own country, are now looking north.
Why? Because Canada’s abortion laws—or rather, its complete absence of them—permit the destruction of preborn human life at any stage, without scrutiny, without limits, and all too often, without a second thought.
And in a tragic twist of irony, this is the legacy Canadians are leaving for the children they choose to let live.
A recent CTV News report reveals how some American physicians see Canada as a “safe” place to continue their practice of abortion-on-demand without legal limitations. As some U.S. states pass new laws protecting life in the womb, these “doctors-of-death” are seeking a jurisdiction that will let them operate in a state of literal lawlessness. And tragically, with no laws regulating abortion, Canada fits the bill.
The truth is chilling. Canada is fast becoming the destination of choice for those seeking to end innocent life in the womb—where unborn children have no legal standing, no shield of protection, and no voice.
Earlier this month, Action Canada for Sexual Health and Rights shamelessly boasted about assisting a young immigrant woman in aborting her 24-week-old baby—six months along, an age at which these premature infants are routinely saved and nurtured in neonatal units. And you paid for it. Let that sink in. While doctors fight to save babies born at this stage, Canada’s abortion industry celebrates their destruction—funded by your tax dollars.
Some will claim that welcoming these physicians is about expanding healthcare access. But what kind of healthcare expands access to ending life rather than preserving it? What kind of medical care stops a heartbeat instead of saving one? And what kind of civilization celebrates the destruction of its own future?
Will Canada—will Alberta—continue down this path, allowing our healthcare system to harbour those who profit from the destruction of innocent human life? Or will we demand protections for the vulnerable and the unborn?
If we fail to act, the blood of the unborn will not only stain the hands of the abortionists—it will stain the conscience of every politician who pandered, every journalist who covered it up, and every citizen who shrugged. The tragedy of abortion will not just be their legacy—it will be all of ours.
