To convict them would have been a definite miscarriage of justice. That woman definitely gave consent and this verdict is a wake up call that all women don't have to be believed. What are men supposed to do??? Read between the lines. Physic analyze her. Give me a break. I think she was after more money.

This was a criminal trial. The civil suit was already settled. It was the Crown that made the decision to prosecute criminally (after 2 years!). Sounds like it was a poor decision.

In this day and age in Canada if there was even a 1% chance these young men were guilty they would have been locked up faster than you can say Canada is finished.
