So Carney loves tariffs when he's the one imposing them but blames Trump for the economic dumpster fire that is the Canadian economy. And Canadians bought the snake oil he was selling. I guess we aren't even close to hitting bottom yet since his level of support hasn't changed much since the election.

How much longer is it going to take Smith and the rest of her government that the climate apocalypse zealots in the Elbows Up Regime will never admit that their policies are wrong.

Alberta Independence is the only logical resolution to this gong show.

I'm assuming that she is trying to make a good fire wall before slipping into independence. Keep in mind we still have to have enough people to agree with independence.

Once again, the liberals pushing their ideology onto Canadians. How do they think people can afford them? My neighbour got rid of her Tesla because it handled so poorly in the winter. This government seriously lacks common sense.

Canadians are incredibly naïve to think Carney and the Liberals (now Ford with his big gut and mouth) are really interested in the benefit of Canadians. They voted for the man...What has been the result....No trade deal, increased unemployment, housing crisis, health care in shambles and immigration still out of control (Notice Carney was absent on the meeting over Ukraine at the White house last week) The EV mandate causing the Canola tariffs from China should be the last Straw for Alberta and SK to get out of this ill fated confederation which is causing their residents untold hardship. You will note that Carney abandoned the ill fated GFANZ chairmanship when his banking buddies read the handwriting on the wall and deserted him and his ideology. Did not take long for him to skip town. (American Senate still investigating GFANZ for Cartel like activities against the oil and gas sector) If the Liberals were really so concerned about Climate change and the EV market they would abandon the Tariffs to make the more affordable Chinese vehicles available to Canadians (not that they would buy them). Obviously, the fake climate change issue is trumped by votes in Ontario at the end of the day politics. Great ideology, when you sell out for your own personal gain. Meanwhile the EPA and US have substantially rolled back mandates on EV's so the market has vaporized, but the politicians in Ontario and Ottawa continue to back the auto sector and pour billions into failed battery plants and EV subsidies. The US is responsible for the consumption of about 90% of Canadian autos. With tariffs and the shift away from EV's in the US that market has evaporated. In reality, the Canadian auto industry will never regain its former status. Canada and the US simply cannot compete with Chinese automakers and this has been brought forward by auto execs and Elon Musk. Meanwhile, the Canadian Canola industry is paying the price for all this lack of judgement and critical thinking. Estimates that we would required 300 billion dollars to build charging infrastructure if Canada was to wholesale change to EV's. This would require about 10 years to build with an enormous cost. Bottom line, Canada is broke (look at deficits) and and cant afford it. Time is not on our side. The liberal plan for EV's mandates is at best ridiculous. Of course they will place taxes on gas and diesel vehicles to try and satisfy their insatiable appetite for spending tax payer dollars on frivolous issues such as Gun buybacks etc etc... But, the people of Canada elected these purveyors of spending and taxation...so I guess they are masochistic and enjoy the abuse and the false innuendo.

GO ALBERTA...

See if you can talk some sense into Ontario's Doug Fraud as well please.

He seems to have lost all of that these days.
