Lol. So the union has no money for strike pay but they can afford litigation. Surely teachers can see this is political.

All unions have been taken over by political groups and use their dues to champion the politics of that party which is always far left . The members need to take back control and their money . Wonder where the money went . I mean really what does the Canada Post Office have to do with Israel . The list goes on .

“reckless abuse of power.” Not the government, it is the union trying to push the reckless abuse of power using the kids as ammunition. Very sad group of people.

The Federal government a big part of the problem allowing uncontrolled immigration policy allowing students who cannot speak/comprehend English to be in regular classes. Also special needs students in classes should be reviewed and relook at the level of impact it has the classroom as a whole. The students are getting lost in the NDP’s and union’s political mandate.

You hit the nail on the head!! Who came up with the idea that children who don't speak English are allowed in classrooms??!! Need an English as a second language class first. Canadian children should not be hindered from learning because the govts are fools!!! Back in the day, children learned second languages in church and did not burden the school system.

The teacher’s union has no case. Furthermore the govt should abolish the union and instead have the ATA as a professional organization responsible for teacher certification and discipline. There should be no right to strike. There is a right to quit.

100%. Public sector monopoly, no right to strike.

The teachers aren’t being paid but the union workers are. When will teachers wake up and push back? Also, the union and NDP are one and the same. Politics should not come into this.

The courts have no power to over rule the charter . Time to put these courts in their place . This is legislation voted for my people representing the citizens . The courts have to business even looking at it . This is why the left stacked the courts and use them to back everything they do . The courts are there to do what the law says not make up their own shit . If they don't like the laws then quit . This is the exact reason this rule was put in the charter .

I still don't understand how such a big union has no strike fund!!! That should raise a few red flags for the members!

What an excuse of a Union. Greedy and they certainly don’t care about the students or teachers.

Why don't we just fire the whole uckin works. In general they are not there to teach, as most of them are not likely qualified, and are pushing the woke agenda.

Why is being a classroom teacher today so much different than it was when most anyone reading my comment was a student in public or secondary school? Why is it that “classroom complexity and safety are among the most critical improvements needed in our education system.” Why are such groups as the Aggression and Complexity in Schools task force now a dictatorial component of education?? I believe some answers follow.

Liberal governance since 2015 has brought a structure of Marxist materialism and Islamist zealotry, wrapped up in language of “justice” and “liberation” to Canada. Wokism preaches tolerance while silencing dissent, weaponizes victimhood to gain control, then replaces liberty with obedience. The elite globalist class loves Carney because he is the perfect tool: polished, radical, and unashamedly anti-Western. He portrays his leadership as a model of progress while quietly steering Canada toward dependency, division, and moral decay. His leadership has grossly accelerated crime, taxes, censorship, and huge reductions in freedoms. Carney’s current effort to place restrictions on use of the Not Withstanding Clause is a perfect example of Marxist tightening the screws on provincial freedoms and INCREASING GOVERNMENT CONTROL!

If Canadians want to preserve a Canada we love and trust, the ideology that Carney has brought, along with him and this off the chart far, far-leftist Liberal government must be eliminated while there is still a chance!
