Canada Post faces what Ottawa has called an “existential crisis.” Federal Minister of Government Transformation Joël Lightbound revealed….

But yet there is nothing being said about the EXISTENTIAL CRISIS at CBC? They are willing to let a government business close or make great sacrifices to continue. But a “ non governmental “ business can continue living off tax payers money while failing in every aspect of their business.

It amazing that so few see this

The CBC is a propaganda arm of the Liberal party, so their public broadcasting costs the Liberal party nothing. Also it helps to shut down other companies trying to compete with the CBC. Canada Post is not helping the Liberal Party to spread the propaganda that Carney needs to stay on as Crime Minister.

Does anyone at a crown corporation know how to run a business? Other than into the ground!

Business knowledge isn't a requirement. It's all about maximizing the milking of taxpayers.

Privatize, that's the only way. Government never could and for sure never will be able to run anything with out it going in the hole.

The federal gov't is known to have no business knowledge which is why everything they invest in is a failure. In private enterprise you either operate profitably or you go out of business and this is how the federal gov't should be operating. Stop making taxpayers fund Canada Post and CBC.

Joe Schafer: What are those words that should terrify any thinking person? "We're from the government, and we're here to help"? Political ranks are full of lawyers and a majority of folks who have zero experience with business - or even managing a household budget. Add a proliferation of progressive policies to the mix, and we have 'Canada' in 2025. Soaring deficits and debt, unaffordable everything, and moral compass gone haywire. Canada Post is just one example of complete incompetence on the part of a government that just keeps printing money and bleeding taxpayers.

Canada Post simply needs to go the way of the dinosaur! Ottawa’s ongoing and never-ending monstrous bailouts just add to a government totally out of financial control!! There are a number of well organized fiscally responsible delivery services already in place across Canada. Provinces and Territories with remote residential areas must put essential delivery mechanisms in place! This is definitely possible, irregardless of the ensuing whining!!

The Canada Post Union is not working for the people who pay dues, they are looking for their own job security. If they truly were working for the postal workers they would have accepted the deal offering them all of their demands a few months ago.
