A comparison of 2024 and 2025 financial disclosures show that the total war chest the Alberta NDP reported has declined by $407,916.

The Alberta NDP has been spending funds at an alarming rate, forcing the party to tap into its war chest and report a deficit of nearly $300,000 last year.

According to Elections Alberta financial disclosure records, the Alberta NDP, led by Naheed Nenshi, ended the 2025 fiscal year with a deficit of $292,484 after spending over $7.2 million in 2025.
