Organizers of Stay Free Alberta delivered 301,620 petition signatures to hold an Alberta independence referendum to Elections Alberta.
The push for a referendum on Alberta’s independence reached a significant milestone today as organizers officially delivered a massive petition to Elections Alberta.
Standing outside the provincial agency’s office in Edmonton, Stay Free Alberta organizer Mitch Sylvester announced that the movement has gathered 301,620 signatures, a number far exceeding the legal threshold required to trigger provincial action.
