Advance voter turnout dropped in Alberta’s two largest cities, though Edmonton saw higher daily participation rates despite a shorter polling period during the municipal elections.
UCP has cleaned up some of the tools that the corrupt elite system was using to cheat in elections. No longer can people vote with out their ID, Voter lists are not given out to parties in advance so fake voters can vote for people who never vote. People can't vote anywhere they want, they must vote at their home riding. All ballots are counted by hand now, and must not be destroyed to avoid re-counts like Election Alberta did in 2023. And the ballot counters are gone. Still we have no way to check if a person is really a citizen when they vote, so many non- Canadians are still voting. But, voting will be more secure this election.
That's true. I actually took my Canadian passport to the polling booth and showed it along with my driver's license but the South Asian gentleman in the booth wasn't interested in my citizenship. At least that's what I think he said. His accent was kind of indecipherable.
I wonder if the lower turnout has to do with the fact that it's only 5 days instead of 10 at the advance polls and, also that there are still so many undecideds. I sure hope it's not voter apathy. This election is too important.

Sounds like both cities are suffering from voter apathy as the choices are terrible. The socialist rule these chitholes cities.
