The gender politics of Peruvian rock music and the life cycle of a grocery cart? Really?

It was the American Economist, Milton Friedman, who, when addressing the subject of government waste said, "Hey, a billion here, a billion there. Petty soon, you're talking about real money."

Friedman also said that "Any country that puts equality ahead of freedom will end up with neither."

Sound familiar Canada?

Make it go away. Please. We can't afford this, after the billions spent on the bogus virus calamity.

It used to be thousands...

Then it was hundreds of thousands...

Then it was millions...

Then it was tens of millions..

Now it's billions..

This is your Government... You can keep it... It's not my Government and has not been since 2015.

Never met any amount they could not blow on BS.

This is simply another to add to this list of money wasted, lost and burnt with little to no benefit.

But not to worry ... WE (The Government) take care of our friends.

This sickens me to hear of this kind of ridiculous waste of money when our country is in the debt it is & when people are struggling to get health care, housing & even groceries. There has to be accountability in how our government throws money at any ridiculous cause. Shame on every government agency that approves this type of utter waste.

There are so few business people involved in government, and this is what you get. Spend money for the sake of spending money. Of course, very few business people can survive in the government environment of slackers and lack of consequences.

That lack of consequences is the key. That has to be changed immediately.

Well, what was one to expect? Since the government is a massive supporter of DEI, funding this type of “research” becomes mandatory since it is within their capabilities. Anything of real value and worth is usually difficult to do and requires some intelligence and ability, not something you will find among the usual DEI crowd.

$105,000 is more than a lot of teachers earn in an entire year, ending with their exhaustion every June. This ridiculous waste of our tax dollars needs to end!!! But of course first we have to discover it! It’s like my hubby says,“Governments don’t care about wasting money, because it’s not THEIR money!” Truly maddening….

This is just another reason for parliamentarians start being responsible for the well being of this country and Canadians vice their personal interests. Vote against this budget, bring this regime down as a first step to get us back on track national and international respectability.

The SSHRC is evidently a prime Department to start controlling Government waste. The bureaucrats that sign off on these projects and university research all have names. Who are they? They cannot be allowed to hide, nameless and faceless.
