A significant cohort of Canadians no longer think the country will exist as it does today half a century from now, according to a new national survey.

The Leger survey, commissioned by Postmedia, found that 15 per cent of respondents do not believe Canada will exist with its current borders and provinces 50 years from now. Meanwhile, another 11 per cent said they weren’t sure, revealing that more than one in four Canadians harbour doubt or uncertainty about Canada’s longevity.
