A truck attempting to smuggle 18 migrants into Canada from the United States was intercepted at Roxham Rd. along the border near St-Bernard-de-Lacolle, Que.
They don't get vetted, as soon as they are on the Canadian side we don't send them back. They are now 8 year taxpayer funded asylum seekers. 8 years is what it takes and you're paying for every single one that makes it accross.
Good on Quebec. I was concerned about an influx just after Trump's election too, so I wonder what the other provinces did to defend our borders.
While some of the immigrants fear persecution in their birth-countries, I wonder if they actually fear prosecution? How well are they vetted and how well is their history checked?
